Hi Ms.Lee! Sorry this is late.....
The SPCA
The SPCA was fun because we learned about how you should treat your animals and if you are treating them right. Some people came from the WRA (Wildlife Rescue Association) and taught us a few things..... Here are three things they taught us.
1. You should never pick up a wild injured animals because they might have germs, rabies, diseases etc.
2. An owl, especially the big ones can easily CRUSH any part of your body that you are holding them with.
3. If you find a baby bird sitting on the ground, just leave it because while birds are learning how to fly, they stay one week on the ground.
When we were at the SPCA, the people there only had 8 animals but now they might have even less because the animals got adopted. Here are the animals they had: 3 kittens, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 1 rabbit.
I'm so glad Audrey is coming back tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

ReplyDeleteHey Eliza!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday! Just checking in to see how your holiday is going, and of course, to see if you've taken any of your spare time to work on our project! Not a requirement, but know that I won't be sad if you come in with another entry in the first week! Hmm, I wonder if you'll even be checking this during the break?! I've had to bookmark this page to make sure I go to the right blog; aren't you popular with all of your different pages!
Hello to Ian, too!
Happy Holidays,
Ms. Rosen
Hi Eliza,
ReplyDeleteHere are the blog ideas that we discussed in class:
1. An online journal, for example, "Eliza's thought(s) of the day." Begin posting more frequently with your own thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics. Some may be given by me, others you may decide to respond to on your own. Feel free to use the blog to express yourself. Let's aim for 2 days a week for now.
2. Research project. Instead of choosing a famous Canadian, you can choose ANY TOPIC YOU WANT. You should feel passionate and excited about learning more about your topic. I will show you a variety of different research tools and presentation methods as the term continues.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Have a great weekend,
Ms. Lee
Hi Ms.Lee! When will I start?? I will talk to you later at recess or lunch.
